Advanced Paint Correction Training (2-Day, Hands-On)

A real-world, vehicle-based training built to help detailers confidently correct paint, refine tight areas, apply ceramic coatings properly, and teach customers how to maintain the finish afterward.

2 Days • Hands-On 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM $1,500/day • $3,000 total 20% Deposit Required

What This Training Is

This is not a classroom-only course. We work on real vehicles and real paint systems with professional tools and products so you leave with repeatable processes you can use immediately in your business.

Day 1: Vehicle Prep & Paint Correction

  • Proper wash, decontamination, and vehicle prep
  • Paint inspection and defect identification
  • Understanding paint types and clear coat behavior
  • Machine polishing fundamentals (DA and rotary)
  • Pad and compound selection
  • One-step vs. multi-step paint correction
  • Removing swirls, scratches, oxidation, and haze
  • Safe polishing techniques and avoiding burn-through
  • Workflow efficiency and pricing paint correction services

Day 2: Tight Areas, Coating, & Maintenance

  • Polishing bumpers, A-pillars, and tight/complex areas
  • Glass polishing techniques
  • Small and precision polishing methods
  • Final paint refinement and finishing
  • Proper ceramic coating prep and application
  • Leveling, curing, and aftercare best practices
  • How to properly wash a corrected and ceramic-coated vehicle
    • Safe wash methods and products
    • Preventing wash-induced marring
    • Maintenance schedules and customer education
  • How to confidently offer and sell correction + coating packages

Pricing & Deposit

$1,500 per day$3,000 total (2 days)

A 20% deposit is required to reserve your spot. The remaining balance is due prior to or on the first day of training.

Tools & Products Provided

All tools, machines, pads, compounds/polishes, and ceramic coating products are provided during training. You’re welcome to bring your own machine if you want feedback on your setup (optional).
